As a freelance costume designer, fabricator and dreamer, Harfert collaborated with Blind Tiger Society, Sonya Smith, Lucid Chandelier, Cielo Vertical, Sarah Bush Dancer Project, Contra Costa School of Performing Arts, Chelsea Van Billard, Sarah Keeney, Jhia Jackson, BANDALOOP, Fog Beast, Sean Dorsey Dance, 13th Floor Theater, Take3, Tara Pilbrow, Pinecones and Portals, Danny Nguyen, Klowndra.
She is known for creating vibrant, detailed costumes that both enhance the artistic vision of the choreographer and can stand alone. Her projects often employ the mixed use of classic and alternative “fabrics” such as spandex, velvet, latex, upcycled objects, plastic, and more.
